Local Plan Scoping Conusltation Now Open (1st July to 11th August 2026)
Westmorland and Furness Council has launched the Local Plan Scoping Consultation, inviting residents, businesses, and community groups to share their views on what the new Local Plan should cover. The consultation runs from 1st July to 11th August 2026.
The Local Plan will guide future development, housing, the environment, infrastructure and local priorities across the area. This early stage is an opportunity for people to influence the themes and issues the plan should address.

Paper questionnaires are also available for those unable to respond online and can be posted to South Lakeland House.
